The SECURE-R2I Project Final Dissemination and Brokerage Events (Annonce)
International Workshop devoted to the completion of the SECURE R2I Project of the EC 7 FP on science, technology and innovation will take place on September 29, 2016 in Kyiv. The Project is aimed at strengthening cooperation of the EU with Eastern Partnership countries on bridging the gap between research and innovation for inclusive and secure societies. The Workshop includes brokerage event during which Ukrainian scientists will have the opportunity to meet partners from Eastern Partnership and European countries and to negotiate joint research and innovation activities within Social Challenge “Secure Societies” of the HORIZON 2020 Program. The research domains encompassed by “Secure Societies” are broad and include ICT; Security; Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials (NMP).
On behalf of the SECURE-R2I project consortium, the TBI “Kharkiv Technologies” invite all interested specialists, scientists and entrepreneurs who work in the security sphere to take part in the Workshop.
The event will take place in the great Conference Hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine at the address: 55, Volodymyrska st., Kyiv.
The Workshop starts at 10.00, registration – at 9.30.

LOGISTICS
In view of the fast approaching date of the Kyiv events we would like to provide you with logistic information regarding your stay in Kyiv.
Taxi: The easiest way to get from the airport to the center of the city is taxi. There are several taxi desks in the airport arrivals hall where you can order a taxi at the price about 300 UAH (appr. 10-15 Euro) for a one-way trip. If you get a taxi just outside the airport building, prices are negotiable but expect to pay Euro 20 - 30.
Regular-route buses: There are frequent bus services (Skybus) to/from the centre of Kiev. The Skybus stop is just outside of the airport arrivals hall; bus arrives at the Pivdennij terminal of Central railway station. Ticket can be bought inside the bus; the price is about 2-3 Euro (65 UAH). Journey takes approximately 45-60 minutes. From the Central railway station you can get to the recommended hotels by taxi or metro: there are 2-3 Metro stops (M1 direct red line) to the recommended hotels. See scheme
