Innovative youth program UPSHIFT opens a set for youth teams from Kharkiv. Participants of this program will develop their own innovative solutions and will have the opportunity to attract funding to implement their ideas. Applications are accepted until August 23.

Within the program, participants will be able to:

• Gain 21st century skills such as teamwork, problem analysis and project development,
• create their own innovative project,
• receive funding in the amount of UAH 50,000 and mentoring support for the project implementation
• start a social enterprise or public initiative

Youth teams of 3-5 participants aged 14 to 21 can apply for UPSHIFT in Kharkiv. The priority areas of the competitive selection will be project ideas aimed at the development of culture, preservation of the environment, involvement of young people into active public life. These can be applications that promote cultural and architectural heritage, affect the tourist attractiveness of the city, form an eco-conscious lifestyle, develop creative industries, youth activism.
